Modelity was established by Steven Shorter, an Architect who has for the last 20 years provided CAD and BIM software consultancy to the world’s leading architectural practices. In 2018 Steven established Modelity in response to demand from his clients requiring specialist architectural support in the sales, installation and training of Vectorworks CAD and BIM software.

Born in Oxford, and educated at the Polytechnic of Central London, Steven has worked for a number of high profile Practices including AHMM, ORMS, Neave Brown, Michael Squire and Partners, David Chipperfield Architects, Brady Mallalieu, and Stanton Williams.
Steven chairs the Vectorworks AEC UK CAD and BIM Standards committee and runs the highly acclaimed consultancy, Steven Shorter Ltd., along with Giovanni providing Vectorworks CAD and BIM management services to over 150 practices.
Steven and Giovanni have taught at the University of Westminster and University of East London and currently lecture in CAD and BIM as part of the Digital Representation initiatives at Kingston University.
